But unfortunately your FTTH home connection is down, you cannot reach the hlepdesk of your provider and know you need to troubleshoot this one first, before you can continue your actual task.
Welcome to Troubleshooting FTTH for Network People. This article hopefully gives you a little bit of insight what kind of behaviour to expect from access networks and devices installed in your home by your FTTH provider. It is by no means meant to be a complete troubleshooting guide for a FTTH NOC, but maybe will help you identify some problems you might be able to fix for yourself, or else give some pointers to your provider to have them fix your connection faster.
